Seeking Host Families
CETUSA is seeking host families for the 2024-25 school year to host foreign exchange students at Hamilton High School! Hosting a foreign exchange student is such a rewarding experience for your entire family. It is a "show and tell" as you teach your new family member about our culture and watch them experience all their "firsts". The student will bring a bit of their culture into your home to share as well. Students come from over 20 different countries and are carefully selected based on maturity, academics, and English language skills. Each student will come with their own health insurance and monthly spending money to cover personal expenses.
- Must be at least 25 years of age
- Must complete online application
- Must pass a background check
- Provide a spare bed, some transportation for school activities
- Treat the student like your own child

The Gate Youth Center for Middle School Students 5-8th Grades
Tuesdays & Thursdays 3-5pm During Academic School Year
(PARENT PICK UP PROMPTLY BY 5:30PM)
The Gate is a drop-in style after-school program for middle school students in the Hamilton area starting on September 20. The Gate exists to provide a safe and Christ-centered environment for students to grow, play, build relationships, and be challenged. The Gate is a 501 c3 non-profit that is conveniently located across from the middle school at Cultivate Church. A crossing guard will be available for students to walk safely across 136th Ave. after school. There’s also a new program coordinator Sandy Cockrum (Harbottle), a retired teacher who taught at Hamilton Community Schools for 25 years and is happy to be at The Gate this year!
We are in need of volunteers for this year’s programming T/Th 3-5pm. Please consider joining us in helping and supporting Hamilton’s middle school students.
